Some of you may remember "little miss sunshine" the obnoxious yellow doll in the picture; well my daughter absolutely loves her. I went to Target to pick up a few things; and just as you're not supposed to go to the grocery store hungry, you also should never go to Target with your cute baby who "needs" a fun toy. Don't worry, I had a gift card! I was walking past the toy isle, not intending to buy anything when I saw this funny doll. I just had to see what it said and when I pushed it my sweet little girl smiled and laughed. I thought it might be a fluke, but she continued to love it. How could I not buy it then! So now we play with the silly little doll during our tummy time. My mom reminded me how important tummy time is; I think she's trying to have Avila compete in a milestone race with her bosses daughter who is 2 weeks younger. Regardless, she loves it!
Hanging on the couch in our PJ's playing with toys! The day has finally come when Avila will actually play with a toy. Cow was her first love. Little miss sunshine has taken over, but only becuase she makes noise I think. It's so fun to watch her explore the toys. It takes a minute for her to control her hand enough to grap the toy, but when she does she holds on for dear life!
Watching TV with momma. I bad habit we started early. We'll have to break it when she starts to understand what she's watching. No more Grey's Anatomy for her!
Just hanging in her crib. She loves just laying there listening to music and watching her mobil. This is when she reminds me of daddy. Just enjoying some peace and quiet. Then she starts crying for attention and I'm reminded that she's my daughter too.Being a mom is so fun; I love it!
